August 5, 2010Jason “Blackfoot” James Dardar, 50, a native of Isle of Jean Charles, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 5:03 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Dusty Sevin Dardar; sons, Jason (Rehneka Billiot) Collins, and Jonathan (Mindy) and Jordy (Stacey) Parfait; daughters, Ashley (Tivan Bennett Sr.) Parfait and Julia Dardar; brothers, Joseph “Joe-Joe”, Daniel “Danu”, Paul “Terry”, Gary “Jone”, Donald “Timmy” and Michael “Buck” Dardar; sisters, Relta Garcia, Sherry “Lynn” Hendon, Patty Johnson, Esther “Ta-Ta” Navarro, Sarah “Sue-Sue” Dardar and Sana Carbajal; 36 nieces and nephews; 66 great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilsey and Virginia Gregorie Dardar.
He is buried at St. Elie Cemetery.
