Local AAU team wins tournament
The Louisiana Lightning opened their 2016 season with a bang this weekend, winning their irst tournament of the year.
The local basketball squad is 15U and features several local standouts.
Local fair raises nearly $70K
A local festival raised more than $67,000 in funds last weekend.
Cody Rink with the Choctaw Fire Department told The Times this week that the ireman’s fair raised $67,304 this year.
The event was March 11-13.
