Dorothy Blanchard

Dorothy Marie Dupre Blanchard, 82, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 11:55 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016.

Mrs. Blanchard was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and making puzzles.

She is survived by her brothers, Wilsey (Betty) and Andy (Maria) Dupre; brother-in-law, Albert Lyons; sister-in-law, Anna Marie Dupre; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial is at St. Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery in Pointe-Aux-Chenes.
