Williams is a graduate of Terrebonne High School.
POSITION PLAYED:
Williams is an outfielder at the AAA-level of play in the Tampa Bay Rays’ farm system. He is currently one of the top prospects in a system which has been ranked by many as one of the better systems in Major League Baseball.
STATS:
Williams was hitting, 243 on the season at press-tiny with 3 home runs and 14 RBL. Williams has a .319 on-base percentage and he’s been hot lately, recording two-straight multi-hit games over the weekend.
GOALS:
“To try and fulfill my life-long goal of making it to me Major Leagues.”

CREDENTIALS:
Locally, we all know Justin Williams – the Houma-grown baseball star who is now in the Tampa Bay Rays’ farm system. It’s amazing that he wasn’t already a recipient of our Player of the Week honors. Williams is one step away from the MLB, playing at the AAA-level for the Rays, So far, he’s hit .243 on the season with three home runs.
