Luke is a multi-sport standout for South Lafourche. He is a starting forward for the Tarpons’ boys’ basketball team and a starting infielder for the baseball team, playing first base. Luke is one of the top players on the team in each sport and is one of the more well-rounded athletes at the school.
STATS:
This past weekend at the Thomas Jefferson Tournament, Luke led the Tarpons in scoring in two of three games, posting 20-point games against Central Catholic and John Ehret.
GOALS:
“To try and get our team back to the playoffs by winning the District 7-4A Championship.
WORKING ON:
Strength, balance, outside shooting, post-up moves. STRENGTHS:
Ability to play multiple positions, willingness to take charges on the defensive side of the floor.
CREDENTIALS:
South Lafourche senior forward Luke Chiasson is hoping to end his playing career with a bang. The Tarpons’ standout is one of the leading scorers on a team that has a 12-7 record at press-time with wins over Brusly, Central Catholic, Grace King and others. This past weekend, Luke enjoyed another All-Tournament Trophy, helping the Tarpons go 2-1 at Thomas Jefferson.
