Nikkia is a multi-year standout guard for the prestigious Lady Patriots basketball team. She was a key cog in helping the team win the Class 4A State Championship this season.
STRENGTHS:
Nikkia is a nightmare to defend. She can slash and attack the basket, but she can also make shots from just about anywhere on the floor. This past weekend, she won the Bayou-River All-Star Game 3-point competition, which is an indication of her shooting range and touch.
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A LADY PATRIOT:
“The pride we all have in our school and what we do every, single time that we’re together on the basketball court.”
BEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:
“Winning the State Championship Game. It’s a blessing to have your last high school game be on that stage and being able to do something as memorable as that.”
CREDENTIALS:
Ellender Memorial High School standout Nikkia Johnson can do just about anything on a basketball floor. The Lady Patriots star senior guard had a huge hand in helping the team win the Class 4A State Championship, helping lead the team on both ends of the floor. Off the floor, Nikkia said she enjoys being around friends, while also listening to music.
