The Times of Houma-Thibodaux’s West Main Street office will be closed Monday, July 4th.
The business office will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

July 4th fun abounds
Searching for a free, legal fireworks show this July 4th? Thibodaux’s Let Freedom Ring Festival and the Houma Independence Celebration are a perect option.
The Let Freedom Ring Festival runs from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Peltier Park. The day-long celebration includes live music, an auction and fireworks show. Ice chest and barbecue pits are welcomed.
The Houma celebration begins at 9 a.m. with a memorial at Veteran’s Park, followed by a parade at 1 p.m. from Terrebonne High to the civic center. In addition to food, activities and music and culminates with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
