Charles “Charlie” Cheramie, 91, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Mr. Cheramie was a First Class Navy Seaman from 1943 until 1945 and a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans Association.
He was also a world traveler.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Burial is St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Chauvin.
