Jannie Matherne

Jannie Josephine Matherne, 73, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died at 12:31 a. m. on Sunday, May 15, 2016.

Mrs. Matherne was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked at the Terrebonne Parish School Board, and enjoyed arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Toussaint Matherne; daughters, Peggy, Pamela and Paulette Matherne; brother, Lester Neal; sister, Shirley Matherne; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
