Brenda “Bird” Hills Moore, 55, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Wednesday, December 31, 2008.

She is survived by her husband Larry Moore Sr. of Thibodaux; mother, Ethel Mae Williams of Thibodaux; three daughters, Tiffany L. Moore and companion Justin Ballard, Belinda Moore Robinson and husband Irving Robinson and Christi L. Moore all of Thibodaux; five sons, Larry Moore Jr., Anthony P. Moore and companion Deshana Coleman, Carlos T. Moore, Robert Moore and wife Yolanda Moore, and Jamar Moore all of Thibodaux; three brothers, James Williams, Gilbert Williams of Thibodaux and Emanuel Andrews and wife Vivian of Arlington, Tx.; four sisters, Stephanie Joseph and husband Roland Joseph, Latrice Streams and husband Kelsir Streams, Denear Hills, and Lenar Ballard and husband Everett Ballard all of Thibodaux; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thurston Hills; and grandparents, Coleman and Daisy Livas Williams and Hosea and Ethel Henry Hills.

She was an elder at Tabernacle of Love Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed family and church activities. Elder Moore was a devoted homemaker.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, at Tabernacle Of Love Pentecostal Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Livas Lane Cemetery on Johnson Ridge.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
