Hartley Bergeron Sr.

Hartley John Bergeron Sr., 70, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:40 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016.

Mr. Bergeron was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A U.S. Army veteran, he worked for Texaco for 35 years. Afterward, he spent time at Lavis Conoco.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joy “Schnook” David Bergeron; son Hartley (Jessica) Bergeron Jr.; daughters, Tina (Tate) Robichaux, Jessica (Parrish Carroll) Bergeron; eight grandchildren and one on the way; and one great-grandchild on the way.

Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
