Pete Joseph Cheramie, 49, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Sunday, April 13.
He is survived by his parents, Louman J. Cheramie and Doris B. Cheramie; son, Nicholas Helmer; brother, Douglas Cheramie; sister, Elda Allemand; nieces, Buffy C. Lafont and Alex M. Allemand; and nephews, Kevin D. Cheramie and Jobe M. Allemand.
He was a cattleman and avid LSU fan.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow, La. with mass to follow Wednesday. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
