Mathew James Arceneaux, 28, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012.
Mr. Arceneaux was a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and Delgado Community College. He was employed by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
He is survived by his parents, Judge David and Frances Arceneaux; sister, Katherine (Jason) DeWater; brother, Jeffrey (Amanda) Arceneaux; and grandparents, Gerald and Kathy Arceneaux.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Berlien Lagarde.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 26, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. II. (Chauvin)
