Addie Solet

Addie J. Solet Sr., 77, a native of Dulac, La., and resident of Houma, La., died on Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

Mr. Solet was a tug boat captain and commercial fisherman. He loved family gatherings and telling jokes.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Parfait Solet; sons, Addie Jr. (Belinda), Picou (Julie), Terry (Maria), Donald (Karen) and Craig Solet; daughter, Tracey (Tony) Stewart; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
