Harold “Ringo” Sevin Sr., age 71, passed away on Oct. 18, 2018, at the Carpenter House. He was a native of Lockport and a longtime resident of Houma. In the past five years, Harold Sr. lived in Prairieville, with his son, Harold Jr.

Harold is survived by his son, Harold Joseph Sevin Jr. and fiancee, Lori Williams; daughter, Angela Sevin; grandchildren, Kyle and Kate Gonce; sisters, Rose Hebert, Peggy Folse and husband, Steve; and brother, E.J. Sevin and wife, Cathy.He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

On Oct. 18, 2018, the world lost a great man; a father, brother, father-in-law, grandfather and best friend to many. Harold had a great-personality. He was fun and full of energy. Harold was a tugboat Captain with over 30 years of service. When Harold was home, he enjoyed his time with his family. He looked forward to Houma Mardi Gras Parades every year. Longtime residents of Houma knew Harold by his infamous labeled green Chevrolet truck. He is at peace with God and home with his wife and two sons he lost July 24, 1995. He gave his family 71 years of his life and happiness here on earth and now has eternal life in Heaven with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
