I think that’s good for the world “
Berwick native Monica Williams said she ma shopping at Southland Mall with her two boys and one girl when she heard shoppers talking about the parade.
The family planned to shop, then return home, but decided instead to stick around for a chance to enjoy the holiday season.
“We were home alone. The kids1 daddy is offshore, SO we decided. ‘What the beck? Left go to the parade. Williams said. And we don’t regret that we did. It was a very good time. I enjoyed myself. The kids enjoyed themselves. It was a lot of fan for everyone.”
In Lockport a celebration to light the town’s tree was postponed from this weekend to last night, but the Lockport Christmas Festivities and Parade rolled as scheduled.
