Kenneth Joseph King, 75, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012.
Mr. King was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He retired as a supervisor from Texaco, Inc. after 38 years of service. He was past president of the Iberia Parish School Board and an avid hunter, master craftsman and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria King; son, Kenneth Jr. (Stacy) King; daughters, Kelly (Michael) LaRussa and Kara (Jason) Griffin; sister, Alice (Dr. Bobby) Haydel; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoffman and Alice King; brother, Hoffman King Jr.; and sisters, Marlene Wimbish and Kathryn Gautreaux.
Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
