Local lawmakers’ pre-filings a mixed bag
March 25, 2010Jane Staats Olewinski, 86, a native of Willington, Del., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 4:24 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonja (Lonnie) Clement; sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Kennard; two grandchildren, Derek Anthony Gilliam and Krystal Ann Clement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” J. Olewinski; parents, Louis and Marion Armstrong Staats; and brother, L.T. Staats.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
