Florence Cecile Duplantis LeBeouf Portier, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She gained her angel wings and went into the arms of her Lord and Savior. Florence is blessed to be able to spend eternal life with her Heavenly Father. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
Florence is survived by her children, Daniel and wife Laurel LeBeouf, Carla Boudreaux, Nicole and husband Leo Yanez, Shana and husband Pie-O Falgout, and Mark LeBeouf, daughter-in-law, Lou LeBeouf, eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Enola Bergeron, Hazel Lottinger, Rosella Pellegrin, and Julia Ezell; one step-son, and four step-daughters.
Florence was a loving and devoted spiritual warrior. She loved her Lord and reciting the Rosary. She loved to shake-a-leg, listen to music, and collecting porcelain dolls. Her passion was cooking for her family and family gatherings. Florence was not only just a beautiful Christian woman, but a devoted mother to her children and long line of grandchildren. She was truly blessed with a large family to carry her spiritual beliefs for generations. Florence worked for the Registrar of Voters with over 40 years of service. She has now been reunited with her Lord and her family who has passed on before her.
