Barbara Smith

Barbara Smith, 66. a native of Atmore, Ala., and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:50 a.m. March 17, 2015, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, La.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, and a dietary tech for the Dioceses of Terrebonne.

She is surivived by her husband, Edward J. Smith; sons, Shawn Scott and Daveyon (Christina) Smith; daughters, Kendra (Clifford) Floyd and Ebonie Smith; brother, Andre McGowan; sisters, Dorothy Baylor, Shirley McGowan and Beverly McGowan; and six grandchildren.

Burial is at Emmanuel Cemetery.
