Cody Dale Carrere, 21, a native of Houma and a resident of Pineville, Louisiana, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
Mr. Carrere loved fishing, hunting, scuba diving, swimming, playing video games, playing guitar, and cookouts and spending time with friends and family. He was known for his smile, his joking nature and ability to make people laugh.
He is survived by his father, Mark (Cammy) Carrere; mother, Donna Domangue (Kin) Leger; sister, Abby Lynn Carrere; step-siblings, Chase Chancellor and fiance’ Amber Folse, Courtney Chancellor, Devin Leger, Christian Leger, Joshua Leger, Katlyn Leger; great-grandmother: Beulah Domangue; grandparents, Roy and Linda Carrere, Margaret Domangue, and step-grandparents: Ernest and Christine Naquin.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dale Domangue, and great-grandparents, Rosalie Domangue, Chester Domangue, Irvan and Edith Boudreaux, Antoine and Irene Carrere.
