Stella Doucet, 87, a native of Jennings and resident of Houma, passed away on August 31, 2018.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Doucet Percy and husband, Gary, Paul Harris Doucet Jr. and wife, Charlotte, and Renee’ LeBoeuf; grandchildren, Dina Touchard, Paul Doucet III, Jessica Duet, Brandi Darcey, Gabrielle LeBoeuf, Jana Adams, and Justin Doucet; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Meaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stella enjoyed working, eventually retiring after 23 years, at Mother’s Restaurant, collecting frogs, baking pumpkin bread, and playing her crossword puzzles. She also loved spending time with her family and having large family gatherings. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Maison De Ville Nursing Home and St. Joseph Hospice.
