Joseph Gilbert Ardoin, 69, a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 5:35 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Elta Boudreaux Ardoin; sons, Brian, David and Michael Ardoin; daughters, Melissa Rock, Christine Ardoin and Paula Mousseau; brothers, John, Bobby and Lionel Ardoin; sister, Marie Wright; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Bernice Molitor Ardoin; and one sister, Louella Landry.
He is buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland, La. (Falgout)
