Dorothy Bergeron

Dorothy Bergeron, 82, a native of Choupic, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.

Mrs. Bergeron enjoyed crocheting, reading, dancing, listening to old-time country and gospel music and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Elphege Bergeron; daughters, Marilyn (Gerald) Melancon, Donna Trahan, Kathy (Ronald) Cortez and Susan (Timmy) Dupre; brother, Percy Landry; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial is at First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue Cemetery in Bayou Blue.
