Daniel Folse

Daniel Joseph Folse, 88, a resident of Raceland, La., died on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Mr. Folse was an retiree of South Coast Sugars Raceland after 44 years of service. He served in the United States Army during and after the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores Comeaux Folse; sons, Glenn (Linda) and Herman Folse; daughters, Cynthia (Kenny) Adams, Elaine (Donnie) Foret and Kathleen (Mike) Martin; sister, Isabella Dufrene; 10 grandchildren and one step-grandchild; and three great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery in Raceland.
