Van Hilliard, 60, a resident of New Orleans, La., died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015.
Mr. Hilliard is survived by daughter, Angela (Monroe) Hilliard; brother, Richard (Carol) Hilliard, Jr.; sisters, Terry Hilliard and Yvonne (Jimmie) Gage; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Burial is at Resthaven Memorial Park in New Orleans, La. (Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home)
