Officials to U.S. Corps: Use sediment for coastal restoration

October 22, 2006The Homestead Assisted Living and Woodmen of the World Lodge 308 will host a flag dedication ceremony Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 10:30 a.m., entitled, “In Honor and Remembrance: Woodmen Salutes America’s Heroes.”
The public is invited to the Homestead Assisted Living Center, located on Cottage Drive in Houma. Community leaders, veterans and military representatives will also attend the event.
