Rema Chiasson

Rema Acosta Chiasson, 86, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Monday, June 5, 2017.

Mrs. Chiasson was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and a teacher at Holy Rosary Catholic School.

She is survived by her children, Susan Schenken, John, Melissa and Mark Chiasson and Ruth Aucoin; siblings, Frederick Acosta Jr., Phyllis Collins and Gail Guidry; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Interment is at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose.
