Public input sought on state’s coastal plan
August 8, 2011Anna Rose Jupiter Kennedy, 74, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Sunday, July 31, 2011.
Mrs. Kennedy was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Jesse) Robertson, Joycelyn (Toler) Williams, Chyvette Hays and Stella (Adam) Jones; sons, William (Christy) and Ronnie (Carol) Kennedy; sister, Florentine Blanchard; brother, Andrew Jupiter; aunt, Helen Jupiter; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Stella Jupiter; husband, William Kennedy; son, Don Kennedy; and brothers, Walter Jr. and Dewitt Jupiter.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5 at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at Virginia Baptist Church, Ewellville, La., with religious services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
