Reta Mae Arcement, 89, a native of Soda, Tx., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died at 1:11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Mrs. Acrement was a devoted Christian and a caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery, making many of her family’s clothes herself.
She is survived by her sons, Eugene (Yvonne) and James (Catherine) Acrement; daughter, Eloyne (Bradley) Erickson; brothers, L.C. and Mackon (Margie) Placker; six grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at a later date.
