James D. Brabham, Sr., 74, a native of Liberty, Miss., and resident of Gheens, La., died on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
Mr. Brabham was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post 83.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karen Ann Brabham; sons, James Jr. (Sheryl), Thomas (Elizabeth) Brabham and Lonnie (Leslie) Pelotto; daughters, Rachel (Ryan) Dupre, Lou (Kenny) Pellegrin and Michelle (Robert) Guidry; brother, Philip Brabham; sisters, Alexzene Banker and Patricia Myers; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands.
