Vernis Mitchell Robichaux Sr., 74, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:52 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017.
Mr. Robichaux loved Elvis and making people laugh.
He is survived by his children, Vernis Jr., Timmy (Donna), Lisa (Michael), Philip (Louise) and Oscar Robichaux; sister, Verna Oberholtzer; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.
