Sylvest Peter Callahan, 83, a native of Dularge, La., and resident of Coteau, La., died on Monday, May 15, 2017.
Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife, Shirley Pierron Callahan; sons, Keith Callahan and William Bass; daughters, Zinda Leonard and Phyllis Creel; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery in Theriot.
