September 9, 2011Blanche Rita Barrios, 86, a native and resident of Larose, La., died at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.
Mrs. Barrios was Catholic.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Cantrelle; daughters, Mona and Lona Authement; sisters, Joyce Melancon and Ethel Hinyub; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samson Barrios; parents, David and Blanche Penny; son, Jimmy Cantrelle; daughter, Darlene Cantrelle; brothers, Milton, William and Walter Penny; and sisters, Doris Boudreaux, Mable Penny and Dot Fritz.
Burial was at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose. (Samart-Mothe)
