Lelia Falgout Duplantis, 101, a native of Theriot, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, May 30, 2014.
Mrs. Duplantis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed traveling, playing cards, fishing and cooking. She touched many people’s lives and left an amazing legacy. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Brunella (Raymond) Brunet; six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Burial is at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
