Clarence Hamilton Jr., 60, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La. died Wednesday, December 12, 2007.
He is survived by his mother, Ora Mae Williams; 11 daughters, Colette Hamilton, Deniesha Hamilton, Anjannette Hamilton, Lisa Pierre, Nysha Smith, Laquisha Hamilton, Kenna Hamilton, Shelly Hamilton, Shenilka Hamilton, Crystal Hamilton, and Nikki Hamilton; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Wagner and Kimberly Dumas; five sons, Clarence Wagner Hamilton, Jarvis Hamilton, Clarence Lee Nelson, Joshua Nelson, and Rynell Nelson; one brother, Bertrand Hamilton; eight sisters, Audrey Lee, Shirley Francis, Brenda Hamilton, and Gail Hamilton, Lois Swing, Sandra Campbell, Geraldine Hamilton, and Patricia Hamilton; and 33 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hamilton, Sr.; and his grandparents, Otonce and Charley Williams and Emma Hamilton and Samuel Hamilton.
Clarence was a devout Baptist.
He is buried in Moses Baptist Church Cemetery No. 2 on Sanders Street in Thibodaux.
Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
