Ernest Colby

Ernest “Ernie” M. Colby, 81, a native of Waterbury, Conn., and resident of Lockport, La., died on Thursday, October 27, 2016.

Mr. Colby was a United States Air Force veteran and member of the American Legion Post 83.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Colby; sons, Scott (Diane) and Clay Colby; daughter, Kim Thomas; sisters, Nancy (Dave) Cercola, Dale (Fred) Macgoldrick; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery in Lockport.
