Virginia Bergeron

Virginia Mary Lirette Bergeron, 87, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 10:19 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017.

Mrs. Bergeron was a parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed shopping, helping people and spending time with loved ones.

She is survived by her son, Donald (Faye) Bergeron Jr.; daughter, Melanie (Merlin) Clark; sister, Shirley Eschete; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
