Willie Howard Sr., 70, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La. died Monday, October 22, 2007, at 3:45 p.m.
He is survived by three sons, Willie Howard, Jr., Darnell Howard, and Fredrick Jupiter; three daughters, Cherita Wolfe, Ingrid Harris, and Carolyn Hart; two brothers, Isaac Howard and Joseph Howard; one sister, Eula Howard Stewart; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bond and Almean Amos Howard; three brothers, Samuel Howard, George Howard, and Bernard Howard; one sister, Emily Ruffin; and his grandparents, Joe Amos and Emily Amos.
Willie was a devout Baptist.
Visitation is Friday, October 26, 2007, from 9 :00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Luke Baptist Church. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
