Ruth Eileen Taylor, 81, a native and resident of Slidell, LA., died Wednesday, April 17, 2007.

Visitation and services will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LA.

She is survived by one niece, Joellen Bruney; one nephew, Donnie Feather and wife, Beverly; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Feather; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Angus Taylor; her parents, Frank and Cora Mitchell; one son, Jerry King; three brothers, Herman Mitchell, Meade Feather and Donald Feather; and one sister, Mary Prestenback.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
