Superintendents name challenges for new school year
August 2, 2011Walter Paul Arceneaux, 72, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died at 6:35 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011.
Mr. Arceneaux retired from Anderson Supply after 38 years of employment. He loved fishing and drinking with his buddies and family. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Veronica Arceneaux; sisters, Jane Roberts and Opal (Maurice) Marcel; and numerous in-laws, godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bessie Arceneaux; and brother, Alvin Arceneaux.
Burial was at Bayou Black Cemetery. (Chauvin)
