Eva Guillory Murphy, 90, a native of Mamou, La., and a resident of Morgan City, La., died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010.
Mrs. Murphy was a master seamstress who worked wonders with material. At age 70 she found an interest in bowling and joined the Senior League and won numerous trophies. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew and loved her.
She is survived her sons, Leland (Cathy), Darrel and Anthony (Shelley) Palmature; daughter, JoAnne Holliman; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery.
