Ahmijah R. Thomas, 12, a native of Belle Rose, Louisiana, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.
Ahmijah was a sixth-grade student at Belle Rose Middle School.
She is survived by her parents, Renell Francis and Michelle Thomas of Thibodaux, Louisiana; four brothers; six sisters; maternal grandparents, Antionette and Michael Muse and Vaughn Monroe; and paternal grandparents, Estelle Edmond and Lance Meads.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Michael Jacobs.
