Former drug cop boss pleads guilty to theft

Mabel Mahler Morvant, 92, a native and resident of Kraemer, La., died on Friday, June 3, 2016.

Mrs. Morvant enjoyed cooking, gardening and visiting over a cup of coffee.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Louis) Lassere; siblings, Gertrude Simoneaux, Albert Sr. (Lucy), Butley Sr., Lester (Margaret) Mahler and Henrietta (Junius) Landry; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Interment is at St. Lawrence the Martyr Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
