August has already started off with three he a Aimers: Christopher Robin (Aug. 3X The Darkest Minds (Aug. 3) and The Spy Who Dumped Me (Aug.3) Christopher Robin. the live action Winnie the Pooh film, seems to be favorable with, audiences with a 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. The teenage sci-fi action movie The Darkest Minds is off to a slow start with only $8.9 million earned its opening weekend at the box office, “but the fans of the beet-selling book series should help it recover its $3d million budget The Mila Kiwis and Kate McKinnon led comedy The Spy Who Dumped is favored by audiences as well with an 80% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes
Other films that are sure to bring entertainment in August is the giant-monster epic The Meg (Aug 10)- the frightening Slender Man (Aug. 10), the survival thriller Alpha (Aug 17), the Mark Wahlberg-led. action-packed Mile 22 (Aug. 17) and the action-comedy The Happy time Murders (Aug. 24) starring comedian Melissa McCarthy.

Love After Lore focuses on the aftermath following the death of a husband and father that was deeply beloved and admired by his family. The wife and mother of their two children, Suzanne (Andie Mac-Dowell). seeks partnership and re-enters the Hating world after her husband’s passing. This causes a rift between her and her SOIL Nicholas (Chris O’ Dowd) who has to face his own issues cf infidelity. His younger brother Chris (James Adomian) deals with the grief in a self-destructible manner, turning to alcohol. All three try to achieve happiness and address their demons—rattier those demons came before or after their loved one’s death.
This character-driven movie, directed and co-written by Russell Harbaugh, places you into each scene by not focusing on transitions and forcing you to pick up on moments that already started. The three leads and supporting cast all give noteworthy performances, relying heavy an their mannerisms rather than dialogue to portray their thoughts. Love After Love is an emotional but rewarding character study that explores the themes of family, loss, love and everything else one must deal with an the road to bliss.
