Ivy “Red” Joseph Brunet, 77, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Theriot, La., died Wednesday, December 24.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle Tillis Brunet; daughters, Peggy Loisell and Nancy Cox; sons, Larry Martin, Danny Martin, Howard Martin, Terry Martin, Jerry Martin and Glenn Martin; brother, Chester Brunet; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Brunet and Nolia Pinel Brunet; sisters, Sister Mary Agnes Brunet and Theresa Danos; and brother, Norris Brunet.
He was a retired rigger for J. Ray McDermott.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday December 29, at Christian Faith Fellowship with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
