Gary Crochet

Gary P. Crochet, 69, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015.

Mr. Crochet was a U.S. Marine who served in Vietnam. He retired from Texaco in 1999, after 31 years of service. He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Crochet is survived by his wife, Elvera “Vera” Crochet; son, Kent (Lesley) Crochet; daughters, Kristi (David) Cotton and Kylie (Petey) Kern; and five grandchildren.

Burial is in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery In lieu of flowers donation to the Regional Military Museum in Houma.
