Marguerite Schexnayder

Marguerite Hooper Schexnayder, 93, a native of Laplace, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

Mrs. Schexnayder was a dedicated parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and a member of the church’s Altar Society.

She is survived by her sons, Cecil and Phil (Jeanette) Schexnayder; daughters, Mona (Nelson Jr.) Kramer, Paula Vice; sister, Beverly Hebert; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
