Kenneth Hopkins

Kenneth Alfred Hopkins, 70, a native of Brockton, Mass., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died on Monday, February 6, 2017.

Mr. Hopkins was a retired United States Navy veteran with 25 years of service and 25 years of civil service for the NAS. He was known for his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, MorningDove Verret Hopkins; sons, Kevin (Jeannette) Hopkins, Frankie Verret, Matthew and Paul Upton; daughters, Elicia (Huey) White, Ailia Hopkins, Cyrstal (Adalid) Feliu, Rachel Verret and Kayla; brothers, George and William Hopkins; sisters, Carole Balent; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary.
