Donnie Roy Norred, 80, a native or Rodessa and resident of Houma, died on Dec. 27, 2017.
Mr. Norred is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Shirley Adkins Norred; children Holly Champagne and husband Chester, Sharon Boudreaux, Ray “Boo” Boudreaux III and wife Cindy; seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; sister, Deloris Felarise and husband Roland.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was a graduate of Terrebonne High School. He was the first King of Hercules Carnival Club. Donnie coached local youth basketball for over 32 years. He was a diehard LSU fan and an avid golfer. Donnie was the original owner of Tarpon Rentals, Inc. Donnie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed, always loved; and NEVER forgotten.
